This Mustang was always driven in warm sunny or occasional wet weather in California and Western New York. Is has NOT been driven in winter snow and salt highway conditions. It has ALWAYS been parked and stored in warm indoor facilities ! We have driven our dream Mustang less than 4,000 miles since we bought it 12 years ago. The condition of this car is incredible considering it is a 36- year old Classic ! ! The interior is in beautiful condition with all original parts, except for a new dashboard to replace the sun-faded and scuffed original. We are just in the process of putting in a new Waranteed S/S (Street / Strip) 3-Speed Automatic/Manual High-Performance Transmission (drive in full automatic or shift manually WITHOUT any clutch), Torque Converter & Bell Housing (Manufacturer has been building High-Performance Transmissions for 21 years - with 100% Satisfaction among customers). On the outside, there are (on both sides) 2 chip & stone resistant aluminum shields protecting the perfect rocker panels. The panels (beneath the doors and between the wheel wells) were brushed aluminum (which I did not like) so we had them painted with a satin textured black weather and chip-resistant paint. We had planned to have a nice set of white vinyl 302 Mustang (official script) lettering along with a white vinyl Mustang horse logo. I guess that will be up to the next owner. Included is the ORIGINAL PHILCO RADIO. We also added a pair of NEW expensive black high-temp HIGH- PERFORMANCE CERAMIC COATED DUAL EXHAUST HEADER PIPES (which have only been used for engine testing - see in the underside photo). The engine is nice and still has much of its original Ford blue paint. All of the original sheet metal body and stamped underbody is just as solid and almost as clean as when it was manufactured. The new American Racing wheels and Cooper Cobra G/T High-Performance Tires (less than 100 miles) cost us nearly $1,000. We added the new Grant deluxe wood and chrome 3-spoke racing steering wheel. INCLUDED with this offer is an ADDITIONAL 1970 MUSTANG for spare parts. Our Red Hot Red 1970 Mustang needs some trim parts to be a TRUE SHOW CAR, along with a new exhaust system (cost about 200.-300. ?) and with minor detailing, interior work, and various upgrade parts. We had never planned to sell our beloved Mustang, but due to current circumstances (such as high fuel oil heat costs, drastically increased property taxes and a growing family). WE NEED TO SELL OUR MUSTANG, TO CONVERT OUR HUGE HEATED BASEMENT - GARAGE - SHOP INTO MUCH NEEDED ADDITIONAL FAMILY LIVING SPACE (2 Bedrooms, Laundry, Family Room, Computer Room, etc).
