Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is proud to present this stunning 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Tribute Restomod Convertible. This Mustang has seen a full and very thorough restoration to bring it into the shape that we see it today. From the built 302 that contains AFR 185 heads, a Comp Cam with 552 lift, 1.6 Comp Cam Rollers, a Weiand intake, and topped with a Holley 650 Double Pumper to the AOD 4 speed automatic transmission with a 2500 stall converter, this Shelby Tribute has had no expenses spared. All of this additional power is sent through the 8 Inch rear with 3:40 gears and a locking differential. The suspension is newer from the front to the rear and has the desirable 1 inch Shelby drop conversion on the front upper control arms. Slowing you down is a set of four piston Power disc brakes on the front and Power steering has been added also to make this a great cruiser!

On the interior they have added Pro Car seats for the front, new carpet, sound deadening, new door panels, a center console and also the glove box light and hazard switch in the glove box. The Shelby Styled roll bar is from Stangaholics, and the trunk and end caps are custom made from Autoworks in Arizona. Every panel on this beautiful Restomod is reported to be new from the restoration, and this can be seen incredibly extensive photobook which was made when this Mustang was restored. This Mustang has all of the highly desirable Shelby flairs such as the LED Sequential Shelby Styled tail lights, Gas Cap, Steering Wheel, Roll Bar, Air Cleaner, Oil Fill Cap, and even Valve Covers. The exterior has been finished in a gorgeous Hyper Blue Metallic paint from a 2017 Corvette with Nightshade Charcoal Gray Metallic stripes. All electronics and Hydraulics were completely redone during the restoration, and the custom one off Charcoal Canvas top and Power Top were added as well. You will not find a more eye catching Mustang at any car show or cruise in town!
