In the mid 60’s Ford developed and released a car that would become one of the longest produced cars in American History! We all know the story of the Mustang, the quintessential Pony Car that took America by storm! While even today these cars are loved and we are happy there are many of these ponies still around! The blue paint still has a good shine but you can tell she has enjoyed time on the road as any pony deserves! The blue vinyl interior is also in good order. The blue on blue with black vinyl top (also in good shape) gives this an iconic look. She is sitting on a set of Wheel Vintiques 17″ Mag-Style Wheels that really complements the tone. Walking around this car you certainly couldn’t tell that it is beyond its years. The bigger back tire gives up the game that something is amiss. Popping the hood you expect to see a 289ci V8 but no sir. Thriving under there is a fuel injected 5.0L V8, and she’s a Coyote! The exact horsepower is unknown, but factory spec was 412hp! Power is running down through a the 6-speed automatic transmission that is believed from the same modern mustang! And folks this isn’t one of those situations where a powertrain is pulled and dropped into a car and lets hope for the best. The Mustang II-style front suspension w/tubular A-arms, thick front sway bar, newer urethane bushings, and a strong limited-slip Mosler 9-inch rear speaks volumes to the build. Plus, to balance her out and slow her stride, at each wheel you’ll find QA1 adjustable coilovers and Wilwood disc brakes. Combine this with some nice comforts like A/C, Custom radio w/digital tuner & subwoofer, Dakota Digital Gauges and B&M Quicksilver shifter and you have an incredible package that looks like a vintage muscle car. The build is believed to have been completed 4-5 years ago and only has 1800 miles since the restoration!
