Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is enthusiastically offering this 1973 Ford Mustang convertible for sale on consignment in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. 1973 was the final year of the original generation “Pony Car”, which is of course renowned the world over for being one of the most recognizable automotive brands of all time. 1971-1973 Mustangs were not produced in as high-volume numbers as the 1965-70 years despite being good-looking cars and offering a highly comparable driving experience to their earlier counterparts. Fun fact: the 1973 Mustang was the longest Mustang ever built, at over 16ft in overall length. This car is in mostly original condition with around 70,000 actual miles (as stated by the seller and on other legal documentation we have) which is amazing considering that it’s a 47-year-old car. Painted in “Medium Bright Yellow” with a Black convertible top and stylish Black front/rear spoilers, this Mustang for sale pulls off the sports car look well. This 1973 model comes with its original powertrain: a 302 CID V8 that has power steering, power brakes, exhaust headers that have been added and a recent service totaling almost $4,000 that has replaced various gaskets, seals and engine components. The 3-speed C4 automatic transmission cruises through the gears just like you’d expect and is a great compliment to the V8. Inside, this Mustang is finished with the “Deluxe” interior option and Brown vinyl front bucket seats in good condition. There is some age-related wear in places but the seller of this car has thoughtfully purchased several new cosmetic items such as arm rests and trim pieces that are available with the sale. Air conditioning will keep you cool even on a hot, humid summer’s day and the power operated convertible top is easy to use. This survivor-category 1973 Ford Mustang convertible is in great running and driving condition with a solid body and frame. It could be yours sooner than you think by giving our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff a call at (623) 900-4884 or sending us a direct email inquiry at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com about this car or any of our other inventory for sale.
