Description:
Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to present for sale, on consignment, this stunning 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback! This nut and bolt restoration was a no expense spared project utilizing a ton of FoMoCo original parts.
The following information was provided by the owner and not verified by Gateway. Powered by a 302 cubic inch V8 producing a reported 420hp. The engine was rebuilt with an Eagle rotating system, bored 30 over, A Flat Tappet Competition Cam, Competition Double Roller Chain and Competition Push Rods. An Aluminum Racing Intake sits beneath a 4 Barrel Double Pumper Holley 650 CFM Carburetor. Edelbrock Easy Street Aluminum Heads were used to save weight and run cooler than cast iron heads and are adorned with Billet Aluminum Valve Covers. A High Flow Water Pump is also in place to keep the engine cool while Ceramic Coated Patriot Headers send spent gasses through a true 2 and a half inch dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. An HEI Electronic Distributor was installed for longevity and less maintenance. A Tremec TKO 5 Speed Manual Transmission is great for the Street or Strip.
Inside a complete audio system includes a JL Audio Amplifier and 12″ Sub, Classic Car Stereos Hidden Amplified Antenna, Bluetooth Adapter and Slidebar Radio and Kenwood Mids and Highs. A one piece headliner with console and map lights compliment the TMS Bucket Seats and Rear Fold Down Seat. A 14″, 9 Hole Polished Billet Aluminum Steering wheel makes navigating the road or track a comfortable experience. New carpet, door panels, tinted glass, refurbished console and dash round out a stellar interior.
The Metallic Pepper Gray with Black Racing Stripes is accented by a Shelby Fiberglass Scooped Hood, Ford NOS front and rear bumpers, front and rear valances, trunk lid and lower side panels. A new Tail Light Panel was installed with LED Brake Lights. A full length floor pan spot was welded in the factory locations and strengthened with 1 piece convertible front seat pans. Mustang mirrors have a hard time staying aligned especially after they get loose, a set Unlimited Chrome Power Mirrors were installed for ease of adjustment. LED headlights, Under Hood and Interior Lighting keeps everything bright and crisp. An Aluminum Hot Rod City Garage 21.5 baffled gallon gas tank was installed. Lizard Skin Sound Deadening was sprayed inside the shell while 2 coats of Lizard Skin Ceramic Heat Coating was sprayed underneath.
SSBC Stainless Steel Brakes front and Rear sit behind a set of OEM Ford Mag Wheels with NOS Center Caps. Coil Spring Suspension up front and Leaf Springs in the rear are dampened with Bilstein Shocks to provide a comfortable ride that is ready to perform under spirited driving.
A more extensive list of parts is available on request. This project, once completed has had about 500 miles put on it. It’s ready for the next collector to sit atop their collection as the crown jewel. Do not sleep on the opportunity to own this highly sought after 67 Fastback!
