Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this clean 1965 Ford Mustang. Under the hood is a 200 cubic inch inline-6 engine paired to an automatic transmission. This Mustang was repainted by the original owner to the Emberglo that you see today, but was originally red. The tan interior is in great shape, and makes for a very comfortable cruiser. The Mustang has seen a few tasteful upgrades over the years including front disc brakes from a V8 Mustang, as well as the included 5-lug conversion). The Carburetor was recently replaced to keep it running smoothly, and the transmission has been rebuilt to keep this Mustang comfortably cruising down the road. The Mustang was brought to the midwest from California recently, and has never been driven in the show. One look a the underside of this first generation Mustang will show just how solid this body is! Hop into the drivers seat and you’ll never want to leave!
